Gender reassignment surgery is being forced on gay, lesbian and transsexual citizens to conform to societal norms in Iran. Iran is one of the countries where homosexuality in punishable by death. Living as an openly gay man or lesbian is not possible and gay citizens are being coerced into having gender reassignment surgery to cure them of their homosexuality. Not So Sweet Cakes

A bakery is a business and not a “religious institution.” When the owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa refused a same sex couple’s request for a wedding cake, they broke the law. Under the Oregon Equality Act, private businesses cannot deny anyone services based on sexual orientation. The owners, Melissa and Aaron Klein, are facing up to $150,000 in penalties, but plan to appeal any decision against their right to stand up for “religious freedom.”

That’s SO Gay

Gay refers to a homosexual person, it does not equate to stupid or dumb. Unless you are actually describing a homosexual, this statement is homophobic and is offensive to many LGBT people. When it’s used in a pejorative way, it implies that being gay is somehow less than others.
